Labs & Requisitions
Labs let clinicians order diagnostic tests, hand the patient a requisition, and review results — sometimes as a gate before treatment.
Who's involved
| Role | What they do |
|---|---|
| Doctor / Prescriber | Place lab orders and review results. |
| Patient | Gets a requisition and provides a sample. |
The lab flow
Ordering (clinician)
From the Labs tab, place an order for the panel you need. A requisition is produced for the patient to take to a collection site or use with an at-home option.
Sample collection
Depending on the order, the sample is collected at a walk-in lab, via an at-home phlebotomy visit, or through a test-kit the patient registers.
Results
When results are released (partial or final), the clinician reviews them and decides next steps — which may include signing a prescription.
